Art is for everyone.

Whether you’ve never tried making art before or you’re looking to expand your existing art practice, I can support you through personalized lessons. .

I have 13 years of experience as an art teacher in schools, and now I am using my classroom experience to offer customized art lessons to both children and adults.

Lessons are offered only for those living in the Albuquerque or Rio Rancho, NM area. Our time will focus on valuing the artistic process over product, although I will help all students complete work they are proud of. The lessons will strengthen creative problem solving skills and foster confidence through exploration of techniques. In addition to learning manipulation of materials, lessons will include art vocabulary, art history, and aesthetics.

  • Although an adult is required to be in the home during lessons, students will be most successful when they can focus on artmaking without the presence of their parents. Because of this, I ask that parents do not sit in on art lessons.

If you would feel more comfortable being with your child, I recommend signing up for the lessons together so you can both participate in the art-making.
